Need your Excavator Operations ticket? You’re in the right place. 

This course is designed for workers in operational roles across the civil construction industry. It provides the essential skills and knowledge required to safely operate the machinery, including planning work, using attachments, and handling materials efficiently. 

You’ll be trained and assessed to demonstrate competency over at least two separate occasions in real or simulated site conditions, following national safety and industry standards. 

Course Outline 

This course includes both theory and hands-on practical training focused on safe, efficient operations. 

• RIIMPO320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator operations 

• Duration – 3 days, training & assessment 

• Price – $700 

You’ll cover: 

• Safety procedures and legislative obligations 

• Site planning and hazard identification 

• Pre-operational machine checks 

• Operating the machinery 

• Lifting, moving, and placing materials 

• Using attachments where required 

• Relocating and maintaining equipment 

• Cleaning up the site 

Course Requirements 

All course participants must be: 

• 18 years or older 

• Able to read, understand, and write English 

• Able to produce and meet the evidence of identity criteria as per SafeWork/ Worksafe identification requirements 

• Must have a valid USI Number – Click here to find your USI

Private Training Upon Request 

Private courses can be arranged at our facility, or for added convenience, we can come to you and deliver the course at your site, provided your site meets training and assessment requirements. 

Onsite Requirements :  

• A room with access to power, a blank wall for presentation, a projector screen or a large TV, table/s and chairs. 

• Clear flat area for performing machine operations 

• Excavator (in serviceable condition with operator’s manual present)
